Customer order statuses explained
What does this do?
Every customer order has a status that says where the job is, from not yet ordered to collected or fitted. Moving it along keeps the list honest and tells the whole shop what needs doing next.
How to use it
- From the ☰ menu choose Customer Orders and tap the order.
- Choose the Status. In order they are: Awaiting Order, Ordered With Supplier, Supplier Confirmed, In Transit, Arrived In Store, Customer Notified, Awaiting Collection, Awaiting Customer Response, Booked for Fitting, Collected, Delivered, Completed, Cancelled.
- Use Awaiting Customer Response for flooring sold with no fitting date yet, and Booked for Fitting once a date is agreed. A Booked for Fitting order appears in the Diary.
- Press Save order.
- Collected, Delivered, Completed and Cancelled finish the order: it files itself out of the day-to-day list but is never deleted.
