What does this do?

Two reports show what your shop has given away — one per product line, one per document, both in money rather than only percentages.

How to use it

  1. Open Reports and set the date range you want.
  2. In the table chooser, pick Discounts given to see it product by product, with the original price, the discount and the net.
  3. Pick Discounts by document to see one row per sale, quote or invoice — the customer, the reason, who gave it and who authorised it.
  4. Use Export CSV if you want to work on the figures in a spreadsheet.

Give a discount on a line or the whole sale

Take a percentage or a set amount off one line in the basket, or off the whole sale. The receipt shows the full price of the work and the discount underneath, so the customer can see what they were given.

Set how much your staff can discount

Decide whether staff can discount at all, and how much they can take off without a manager. Anything over the limit asks for a manager PIN and records who approved it.

Reports shows sales, cost and profit for any period, broken down by product, supplier, category, operative, payment method and customer type, with a list of ready-made tables you can print or export. It is for the owner: only a Super Admin can open it.

Export sales to a spreadsheet (CSV)

Any report table can be downloaded as a CSV file that opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets. Set the period and filters first; the file contains exactly what is on screen.

Cash up at the end of the day

Cash Up tracks the drawer from the morning float to the evening count. It knows every cash payment and cash refund the till took, plus any cash you put in or took out, and tells you what should be in the drawer so the variance is obvious.

Filter a report by date, customer type or payment

Every figure and table in Reports follows the filters at the top, so you can narrow a period down to one supplier, one operative, cash only, trade only, or just the sales still owing money.
